Shiv is responsible for MUFG Bank’s market leading project finance franchise in Asia. The business provides advisory and finance solutions for energy & infrastructure projects, including traditional, transitional and green energy systems. He also represents MUFG Bank on an industry advisory panel supporting the ASEAN Taxonomy Board’s development of a sustainable finance taxonomy for the region. Shiv has been a banker for 25 years, the last 14 of which have been directly related to energy markets in Asia. He has worked across various roles in project finance, M&A, capital markets and coverage both in Europe and Asia. Prior to joining MUFG in 2019, he worked for ING Bank in Asia and Lloyds Bank and HSBC in Europe.
