Ms. Leo Pui Yong is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) since 1 June 2023. She is responsible for leading the company’s sustainability efforts and ensuring that TNB’s operations align with the company’s sustainability goals towards Net Zero Emission aspiration by 2050. She is committed to enhance TNB’s resilience and long-term success through sustainable practices.
With over two decades of experience at TNB, she previously held the position of Chief Risk Officer and occupied various engineering, internal auditing, and managerial roles throughout her career with the company.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and earned a Master’s in Energy & Power Systems from the University of Malaya. In addition, she holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a RIMS Certified Risk Management Professional.
