Mr. Davis Chong is the Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, and one of the founding members of Solarvest Holdings Berhad. He led the legacy that oversaw the Company’s strategic development from an SME to a publicly listed company in Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market. He has successfully implemented strategic commercial plans for the solar market in Malaysia including grid-tied and off-grid systems, as well as self-consumption models, with exposure across multiple segments such as rooftop, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale solar.
Believing in the vision to “Energising A Regenerative World”, the Company has grown into an industry leader in the clean energy space and build a strong presence in solar energy industry during his tenure, with more than 1.2GWp of solar capacity projects (on-going and completed) across Malaysia since its formation.
Under his co-stewardship, Solarvest is currently venturing into other clean energy verticals such as energy efficiency and battery energy storage systems, to name a few, as they seek to transform into a clean energy expert. Further, the Company is also expanding its geographical footprint to the Asia Pacific market, with a primary focus on Southeast Asia.
Davis is also the President of Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA).
