With over 18 years of experience, including 16 at TotalEnergies, Arnaud Tual currently serves for TotalEnergies as CCS Director for the Asia-Pacific region, based in Kuala Lumpur. He leads the development of the Southern CCS Cluster project in Malaysia, overseeing major initiatives. As the company’s main CCS representative in the region, he manages strategic partnerships, regulatory engagement, and financial structuring, while shaping the regional CCS portfolio. Previously, Arnaud held roles in Houston, where he directed the acquisition of the Talos CCS portfolio and managed the Bayou Bend CCS project for TotalEnergies. In France, he contributed to the origination and incubation of integrated CO2 capture, transport, and storage solutions, and led strategic planning and advocacy efforts for carbon neutrality. His earlier career includes positions in corporate and project finance, LNG economics, and treasury management across Paris, London, and Damascus.
